Children’s Summer Reading 2016

On Your Mark, Get Set...READ

Calling all kids! The theme of this year’s summer reading adventure is “On Your Mark, Get Set…READ.” Kids of all ages will celebrate with exciting programs, reading adventures, arts and crafts, and fun activities.

There are so many ways to play (and win!) at the library this summer!

You can register for our summer reading program at any point after Memorial Day, and the adventure lasts until Labor Day! Register in the Children’s Department, or online. For each age group, there will be three different challenges: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You’ll complete each one in order, and at your own pace, throughout the summer. For each challenge, there will be a variety of activities to complete, check off on a challenge log, and show a librarian! Ask at the desk if you have any questions, or are wondering if something “counts!” After every level completed (Bronze, Silver, Gold), you’ll win a prize!
