Loss of home #1

Loss of home #1. 22”x 18” oil, acrylic on board.

“It’s hard to talk about paintings that I just finished last month before this call. The most I can say is they are a direct reaction to my loss of home.
The loss I have experienced in the past year has engulfed me in grief and loss of home. Both my parents died, they being the anchors of what I know as home. Home being the soles that surround your everyday. The realization that my Fiancé was not for me after living together for 8 years. This was a loss of home and house.”
