Colonialism around the world has caused great human and environmental harm. Home is altered or destroyed for the original people who inhabited the land. This print from the Leiden series represents English Separatists (the “Pilgrims”) living in Leiden, The Netherlands after they left their homes in England. The next piece represents the journey to their new home in North America.
