A Warm Winter Morning

An Eastern Screech owl – Warming itself in its Winter home. The Eastern Screech is a cavity dweller. In the winter the homes are southern facing, to help them stay warm. Sadly the Eastern Screech is losing safe cavities to live. For their safety they need cavities to hide, ideally they select multiple holes to roost. Please consider learning about their habitat. If you are surrounded by their habitat, consider installing a owl box for them.
