Dream House
Homes are vessels for our deepest yearnings. Fresh and new, they speak of possibility, of the lives we imagine for ourselves and our families, of a future not yet realized. Worn, neglected, ruined, they signal death and loss, a mournful memory of dreams derailed or abandoned. In this photograph, a tiny, tidy home emerges from the fog as though conjured by the viewer, offering Thoreau-like fantasies of simplicity and silence.
