Glier\u2019s mixed media method morphs watercolor painting, digital illustration, and collage to straddle the boundary between digital vs real &#8211; highlighting the otherworldly aspects of everyday scenes. The Falls channels the haunting and ghostly qualities of a hometown &#8211; a place that undoubtedly shapes you, but you\u2019ve let go of. It\u2019s a testament to the growth and death that hometowns witness, and we witness in our hometowns. Glier finds much of her artistic inspiration running and rowing along the Connecticut River.
