The little Grasshopper Sparrow painting was inspired by my partner.  It is his favorite bird and it is a bird that is rarely seen in Massachusetts.  It is believed that this is due in part to the loss of the Grasshopper Sparrow&#8217;s grassland habitat.  It is losing &#8220;home&#8221; here, but this painting shows resilience.
