Description
In 1927 President Coolidge gave his secretary, Everett Sanders, a handwritten note on a scrap of white, blue-lined paper. Sanders typed the one sentence note and distributed it to the newspaper correspondents at a press conference at Rapid City, South Dakota on August 2nd. The note read: “I do not choose to run for president in 1928.”
Our 100% cotton t-shirt commemorates Coolidge’s enigmatic statement with a black-and-white photograph of Silent Cal and “I Do Not Choose to Run” in large type.
