Borrowing Guidelines
- Passes are available to CWMARS library cardholders in good standing: having no billed items or fines over $10.00.
- There is a limit of one pass per household per day.
- Call 587-1011 to check on availability and to hold a pass. Passes will be held for up to four hours.
- Passes are loaned for 2 library days. Passes are not renewable. They may be returned in the bookdrop. They must be returned on time directly to Forbes Library and in the plastic envelope provided so they will be available for the next booking. Borrowers will be charged $5.00 for lost/damaged envelopes.
- Late charges are $5.00 per day, with a maximum fine of $50.00. Lost passes will be assessed a replacement fee. Replacement costs will be charged to the borrower's account after 2 weeks.
- To borrow passes you must present your library card. When you borrow a pass you agree to the borrowing guidelines and agree to pay the replacement cost for lost passes.

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation has donated an annual “ParksPass” to the Forbes Library. The pass entitles the bearer to free parking for one vehicle at over 50 day-use facilities in the State Parks system that charge a parking fee.
