Homebound Delivery Service

Our Homebound Delivery Service is available to residents of any age who are homebound due to a long term illness, disability or who has transportation restraints and is unable to come to the library regularly.  A trained volunteer will place holds for your specific requests or select materials for you based on your interests.  This is the best option for patrons who do not wish to search for titles and place their own holds.  Pickup and Deliveries are on a 3 week cycle. We offer books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and more. These are the ways to sign up for this service:

Volunteer with ODS

We love our dedicated volunteers and look forward to new members joining our dynamic team!

Homebound Delivery Service

Volunteers act as personal librarians to the patrons they serve. They place holds on specific items that patrons request or find items based on their interests. We ask that volunteers be available for up to 2 hours a week for a minimum of 12 consecutive months. (We can accommodate 3  consecutive weeks off  twice a year.)  Volunteers are trained and CORI checked.
We are currently not accepting applications for Homebound Delivery Service Volunteers.
