Hampshire County Jail & House of Correction
The Hampshire County Jail accepts book donations of all genres, except graphic novels, for the library. Must be paperback. Call first. Contact librarian Nate Burdick at 413-584-5911 x1251
Hospice Shop of the Fisher Home
The Hospice Shop accepts donations Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. They do not accept encyclopedias or magazines.
Northampton DPW Transfer Station – 125 Locust St.
City-of-Northampton residents with an appropriate vehicle sticker may take books to the three containers outside the Transfer Station.
Northampton High School
Hardcover book donations in nice condition are accepted at the high school library that are age appropriate and in line with the curriculum. No media or periodicals, please. Contact librarian Rochelle Garfinkel at rgarfinkel@northampton-k12.us.
Roundabout Books
Donations accepted at the shop via 24-hour dropbox and at Valley Recycling (234 Easthampton Rd) via donation bins. For textbooks (current editions only) and academic books buy back, call 413-773-0820 or email roundaboutbooks.customerservice@gmail.com to make an appointment.
Easthampton Community Center
The Easthampton Community Center accepts donations of new or gently used books Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Franklin County Jail, Greenfield
The Franklin County Jail accepts media, periodicals and books in nice condition. Paperback books only, with an emphasis on literature and vocational training. Contact Education Coordinator Jennifer Abeles at 413-774-4014 x2108.
