Digital Amherst is a project of the Jones Library, the public library of Amherst, Massachusetts. It is a pilot project to develop a small but rich online collection of the historic and cultural stories about the town of Amherst and its influence in the Connecticut Valley and beyond.

Among the many collections in Digital Amherst, you will find:
- The Amherst Record Photograph Collection — a collection of photographs from the Amherst Record, a local newspaper. The collection contains about 14,000 prints covering the late 1960’s to early 1984.
- The Amherst Tax Records Collection — which contains digitized versions of early Amherst tax records.
- The Edgar Scott Postcard Collection — the bulk of the images are from about 1897 to approximately 1924 and depict the Northampton and Amherst area.
