Holds Request Form

You may use this form to place a mediated interlibrary loan (ILL) request. Requests placed using this form will not be filled as quickly as those placed through CW MARS or the Commonwealth Catalog, since we will search outside the state of Massachusetts if necessary. Some ILL requests will require a postage fee, which patrons can opt in or out of before submitting the form.

• Mediated ILL requests take time to find a lender and take longer to arrive 
• 28 day loan, no renewals
• Must be returned to Forbes Library
• The bookstrap must remain on the item
• Because of limited staff time, we can only accept 3 requests made through Holds Request Forms, per patron, at a time
