Schedule a Group Tour or Librarian Visit

Visit from a school group

We can provide a tour of the Children’s & Young Adult Department, storytime, or do book talks. If given enough notice, we can customize our presentation to reflect the subject your class is studying. We can also give you library card applications in advance, and as long as we have the signature of the child’s parent or guardian, we can provide your students with library cards during their class visit.

Let us know the name of teacher, name of school, grade, and number of students.
Please give us 2 weeks notice if you can.

Our librarians also do outreach! We’re happy to visit and do a storytime or book talk in your classroom.

Please note: Oversize vehicles and buses do not fit in our driveway and parking lot and prior arrangements need to be made.

Jonathan Edwards visit

See materials of Edwards, Stoddard and their era. Visits to the library are free. The library can assist you in contracting with an Edwards scholar to provide a lecture or with a personalized tour guide to see the related monuments at the Bridge Street Cemetery or a visit to the First Churches sanctuary. Fees are paid to the speaker or guide.
