The WRLF is a non-profit, member-supported land trust. Working since 1986, the WRLF has helped to protect over 3,000 acres of scenic farm and forestland in the Williamstown area. WRLF's site has trail maps, conservation restriction information, a gallery of photographs, links to other local conservation groups, and information about how to become involved in this important organization.

Since 1976, CET's mission is "to research, develop, demonstrate and promote those technologies which have the least disruptive impact on the natural ecology of the Earth." CET's Web site has an extensive list of links to help you get started researching such topics as air quality, composting, energy efficient resources, as well as a calendar of events and ecological tips for your home, business, farm, community, or school. CET has offices in Northampton (26 Market Street), Pittsfield, and Springfield.

The Connecticut Valley Summit is a citizens' group comprised of residents of the Connecticut River Valley that works on making the Valley a better place. Currently, the group focuses on the 9 cities and towns that border the Mt. Tom and Mt. Holyoke Ranges: Amherst, Belchertown, Easthampton, Granby, Hadley, Holyoke, South Hadley, West Springfield, and Westfield. Trail work, fundraising, and increasing environmental awareness are just a small part of this group's work.
