Forbes Library respects the needs of those with chemical sensitivities. The library considers the needs of those with chemical sensitivities when choosing soaps, hand sanitizers, and cleaning supplies and is committed to choosing safe building materials, carpets, etc. during any future renovations.

The library does not use scented air fresheners. The air freshener holders in some bathrooms are a remnant and are no longer used.
