Forbes Library offers three meeting rooms. When not required for the use of the library or library related organizations, they may be used by other groups.

In addition to the meeting rooms, small quiet meetings may be held anywhere in the library not designated as a quiet study area.

The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum and the Hampshire Room for Local History are not available for private bookings.

  • Online: use the Meeting Room Scheduler.
  • In person or by phone: for the Bak Study room contact the Arts and Music Desk (413-587-1013); for the Watson Room and the Community Room, contact the Reference Desk (413-587-1012). For reservations within 24 hours, please contact us by phone.
  • Additional equipment: when reserving the Watson Room or the Community Room, you can also request the use of the Meeting Owl Pro, a videoconferencing camera useful for hybrid events or meetings.
