Her memoir, subtitled “stories of courage, redemption, and pee,” revels in contradictions and…to promote self-respect. Her “potty humor” is bizarrely sophisticated. She uses meta-political incorrectness to express sincere liberal tolerance. She endears herself to her audience through obnoxiousness.
